Last month, Chic-a creator Joanna Reyes blogged about Cleveland Craft Connection, Cleveland’s exclusive DIY crafting and start-up business gathering, which is coming up fast in October.
Cleveland Craft Connection is an event where creative meets business—a day for like-minded, creative crafters to gather and partake in hands-on sessions such as knitting, cake fondant décor, and felting. It’s a day for crafters to learn how to launch a creative business, or simply move their already-existing business forward. The goal of Cleveland Craft Connection is to empower individuals who want to turn their passion into a business. It’s a chance to mix and mingle with other crafters and guest speakers. Even Etsy is coming from New York to teach!
And it just so happens, Joanna will be speaking at the luncheon about her experience with Chic-a.
As of now, Cleveland Craft Connection is trying to do a little fund-raising in order to help out with the event. With the goal being $2000 by September 24th, we here at Chic-a are doing our best to help them out by spreading the word. Donating gets you a discounted ticket, as well as some sharing time with your favorite crafter.
Even if contributing financially isn’t possible for you, spreading the word would be a huge help.
There’s a link to their fund-raising video here.
If you’d like to get in touch with the owners of Cleveland Craft Connection, donate, or find out how to register for the event, email clevelandcraftconnection@gmail.com.
Thanks everyone!
